ITAR & EAR Export Compliance Administrator - Hempstead, NY

Seeking Bachelors Degree and 3+ years hands-on experience exporting articles and services under the International Traffic and Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Export Administration Regulations (EAR) to:
Prepare, submit, and follow up statuses of license applications, Technical Assistance Agreements, Manufacturing License Agreements and other requests for approval.
Verify commodity jurisdictions and obtain commodity classifications and coordinate with internal staff, shippers, and government entities.
Ensure appropriate use of exemptions and exceptions for exports.
Determine and certify legal authority for compliance audits and investigations.
Participate in training staff on import export compliance.
Coordinate traffic to facilitate regulatory compliance.
Compile, approve, and retain records.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
