Kitchen Aide-Waiter/Waitress/Dishwasher Responsible to:
Executive Chef/Food Service Director Your daily duties include all of the following.
Adjustments may be made to these duties in consultation with you.
Your evaluation will be based on how well you perform these responsibilities, your attendance, your attitude and your response to the needs of our residents.
Wear hair net /visor, gloves, and apron Always be aware of personal hygiene and hand-washing Check back with residents after serVing, for other needs Always be polite and accommodating to residents, guests and staff Ability to follow directions Knowledge of food handling and infection control, including HACCP standards Ability to follow systems as indicated Ability to perform duties in a team environment Ability to scrub, wash, and sanitize dishes in respective dishes Ability to follow systems as indicated Pour juices and set tables with napkin, silverware and drinks.
When the residents are seated, ask them if they would like coffee or tea.
Help the cook to prepare plates for serving if required, and help serve.
When all the plates have been served, walk around the dining room to see if anyone needs anything.
Help clear the tables.
Assist with cleanup.
Help put dishes away when they are dry.
Use proper safety precautions when using equipment Restock all condiments, sugar bowls and coffee station items.
Help take out garbage in dining room and dishwashing area.
Any and all other duties as assigned by the Executive Chef/Food Service Manager and/or Administrator.

Must be in good health, able to stand and walk as needed, able to lift and move dishes, serving trays, boxes, garbage bags/containers and other items as may be required in the job.
