Privacy Notice Lifestyle Fact-Checker, BDG Remote / Editorial BDG / Part-time BDG's lifestyle group (Bustle, NYLON, Romper, Elite Daily and The Zoe Report) is seeking an experienced fact-checker to work on culture, business and human interest features for the month of February.
This is a remote, part-time position with flexible hours.
Responsibilities
Work on 1-3 articles each week
Check a mix of profiles, trend stories, narrative features and service journalism
Join one weekly Zoom meeting
Be email available on the days before stories publish Requirements
2 years fact-checking experience

Recommended Skills Editing Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
