As the Inventory Assistant, you will be responsible for managing the company's inventory levels, ensuring that all products are properly accounted for and stocked.
This is a fast-paced and dynamic role that requires an individual who can multitask effectively and work collaboratively with other team members.
Responsibilities Maintain accurate inventory records, including tracking inventory levels, conducting audits, and addressing any discrepancies Conduct regular inventory inspections to ensure proper stock levels and quality control Work closely with purchasing and sales teams to ensure that inventory levels align with demand forecasts Receive, organize, and store all incoming inventory shipments in a timely and efficient manner Develop and maintain positive working relationships with vendors and suppliers Perform data entry tasks related to inventory orders and shipments Assist with the development of inventory control procedures and policies Requirements High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in business or related field preferred Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and inventory management software Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent organizational and time management skills Ability to lift and transport heavy inventory, up to 50 pounds, on a consistent basis Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
